I am a 29 year old nutritionist from Adelaide, Australia!

Despite being taught a whole lot of food science and counselling skills at Uni, I have often struggled with leading a healthy lifestyle. When a chocolate mud cake is sitting in front of me, I am definitely not the person who is likely to say no to it! I can admit that I have a taste for all those sweet, salty and fatty foods that a nutritionist should probably be avoiding. As a result, I have recently begun to experiment with food and cooking on the way to creating a healthier me. I started this blog as a way to share my adventures as well as document some of the things I’ve learned about nutrition and living a healthy and happy lifestyle. Most importantly, I understand that doing what’s best for our health is not always as easy as they make out in diet books or on TV! I want to be able share some of my own struggles and successes on this blog as well as offer enough inspiration to help inform and motivate anyone on their own personal health journeys.

Just to note, I am not a vegan, nor am I gluten or lactose intolerant – I just choose recipes that are, in my opinion, full of nutrition and using fresh, unprocessed ingredients where possible. Hope you enjoy the posts and I encourage all comments and constructive feedback 🙂

Thanks for reading!
